Hello, I am Ms. Miller, your child’s 4th-grade teacher.  I have been teaching for 26 years, this school year will be my 24th year teaching at Rio Vista. We will be starting the 2020-2021 school year learning remotely. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 1, 2020. We will start each school day on Zoom at 8:20 am with attendance and our first lessons. Please have your child come to our online remote learning Zoom meetings ready for school.  The school day ends at 1:45. I have included the first day of school schedule below. I have also included links at the bottom of this letter so your child can join our Zoom meetings and Google Classroom. Please have your child log in to Clever and Google Classroom before the first day of school.  I will have a question for them to answer in Google Classroom, to make sure they got in. Materials pick up will be on Monday, August 31st from 12:00-1:30 for 4th grade, in the school parking lot. Please place your child’s name and teacher’s name on a paper and place it in your front window.
